Will RCS messaging be enabled on new Samsung devices?
The new Samsung Galaxy S8 will be launched with Rich Communication Services (RCS) messaging pre-installed. The move to include RCS from the outset will mean that all users of this Samsung device will benefit from improved messaging capabilities.
RCS messages will include the ability to send and receive voice messages, group chats and image and file sharing, as well as enhanced communication with their preferred brands. For example, the ability to research a train journey, select a seat, purchase and display their ticket, all without leaving their messaging app.

Esendex has joined Google’s early access program for RCS Business Messaging – but what’s that, and how does it affect you?
The intention behind RCS is that it could replace SMS, becoming the new standard for text-based communication between phones.
