About the role

Reporting to the Sales & Service Transformation, you will proactively collate and review data, to provide actionable insight and visibility to performance trends.

The focus of this role will evolve around reporting deliverables and often require additional deep dives into certain KPI’s where there are additional questions or further insight required. You will be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable working as an individual contributor or as a member of a team.

You will have a good understanding of Salesforce reporting, business data and data accuracy.

What you’ll be doing

As a Sales Data Analyst you will be responsible for:

  • Analysing internal sales data to provide insight by channel, customer and format
  • Providing insight and recommendations on key category growth drivers
  • Writing presentations for key stakeholders and board papers
  • Analysing large datasets to identify strengths, weaknesses and benchmarks for improvement
  • Reporting on performance amongst the sales team and conducting analysis to maximise capabilities
  • Making suggestions for process improvement and efficiency and researching new tools and systems to assist
  • Maintain and evolve existing sales reports, dashboards and KPI’s
  • Align data points and descriptions with other units such as Marketing or Finance
  • Review data entry accuracy for sales reports and CRM
  • Work with Sales Enablement and project teams on improving data accuracy
  • Work with various stakeholders from Product, Sales, Marketing etc

What we’re looking for

You will be an exceptional candidate, with a proven track record in a similar role. In particular we are looking for experience in the following areas:

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong experience of data analysis
  • Comfortable with numbers and large datasets
  • Strong reporting and excel experience
  • Understanding of databases and IT processes
  • Experience using CRM Systems and reporting e.g. Salesforce
  • Self-motivation and commitment to drive accurate and high-quality work
  • A team player with a flexible and positive attitude
  • Ability to manage own workload with exceptional attention to detail
  • Exceptional problem solving, investigation and logic skills
  • Outstanding organisation skills

It would be great if you also had:

  • Experience of working with analytical software such as Tableau
  • Ability to speak another European language such as German, French, Italian or Spanish
