What to expect

We are looking for a Product Manager to evaluate our market opportunity, understand our customers’ needs, and drive SMS product performance. Whilst working with our sales, marketing, and technical teams to set and deliver both go-to-market and product development strategies. This role involves working closely with a talented team of Product Managers and Owners to make business communication brilliant!

What you’ll be doing

As a Product Manager you will be responsible for:

• Understanding the market and customers’ needs, becoming the expert on the market and speaking regularly to customers to validate this understanding
• Competitor analysis, understanding the competitive landscape and clearly articulating our USPs
• Go to market and commercial planning, reporting progress vs plan monthly and ensuring alignment of go-to-market and development roadmaps 
• Proposition Ownership, taking ownership of the Core Messaging proposition and ensure alignment between delivery roadmaps and across brands as appropriate
• Overseeing Product Development, ensuring development is delivered on time and to budget
• Line management of Product Owners

What we’re looking for

We’re interested in hearing from proven Product leaders with experience in a similar role, in particular in the following areas: 

• Good interpersonal skills and experience of interacting with internal and external customers
• Strong line management experience
• The ability to understand complex technical concepts and present them simply
• Proven experience working with cross-disciplinary teams
• Commercial acumen
• Experience of leading within a Product function
• Developing, delivering, and supporting business processes
• Experience defining requirements for software delivery for complex products

It would be great if you also had experience in;

• Designing and delivering developer facing web applications, APIs, and SDKs
• Working within or alongside the SMS or telecoms industry
• Software development, IT/Web project management or another technology related role
