What to expect

About the role 

We are looking for an Account Manager to work within our commercial team to build and maintain relationships with our clients as well as upselling additional products and services to further increase revenue.

Reporting to the Sales Manager who is big on developing people, this is an ideal role for anyone looking to take the next step in their sales career!

We have an office in Lyon 3. We’d love it if you joined the team for 2 days a week in the office, but the rest of the time you’re welcome to work from home.

What you’ll be doing

This role is about providing great account management to our customers, developing and managing our customer accounts for both existing and emerging customers.

The role holder will be responsible for:

• Providing great customer service to existing customers
• Assisting with onboarding new customers as and when needed
• Advancing sales opportunities with prospect qualification, development, production and presentation of solutions and contract negotiation and agreement for customers.
• Working towards KPIs – number of calls, number of opportunities created, opportunities closed etc
• Identifying customer requirements in order to upsell existing and new solutions
• Maintaining the CRM – for both new and existing customers
• Working collaboratively with other departments (marketing, professional services, customer success) to ensure that customer needs are met
• Promotion of a positive team culture and team working
• Fulfilling other duties as and when requested

What we’re looking for

We’re interested in hearing from candidates with experience in the following areas:

• Fluent/native French language skills
• Professional level of English
• B2B experience
• Experience of working in an Account Management/Customer success position, or another role
where you have managed a portfolio of existing customers
• Experience of working in a KPI/target driven environment
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Self-motivation and confidence
• Experience of web based applications and Windows
• A willingness to learn
• Frequently meeting and exceeding targets set in a previous sales role
• Professional/consultative style
• Determining customer requirements and specifying technical solutions
• An excellent communicator and team player, with a results oriented outlook and a clear
ability to capitalise on any potential new business opportunity

It would be great if you also had:

• Sales experience of offering software solution/services (SAAS)
• The SMS and telecoms industry
• Knowledge of marketing and messaging tools
