About the role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our busy, growing Sales team. You’ll be responsible for obtaining new clients across a wide range of industries in order to help us hit our ambitious growth targets.

What you’ll be doing
As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for:
- Contacting potential clients to establish relationships and arrange meetings
- Researching organisations and individuals to find new opportunities
- Finding and developing new markets & verticals to improve sales
- Working closely with the account manager function to define the overall proposition
- Developing quotes and proposals for clients
- Engaging with key stakeholders across the business
- Working closely with the Marketing department to improve the effectiveness of both, on and offline marketing to maximise sales opportunities
- Working closely with the Professional Services team to ensure the smooth delivery of solutions projects

What we’re looking for
We’re interested in hearing from candidates with experience in the following areas:
- Strong sales acumen
- Ability to perform sales planning and pipeline management
- Experience in a field based new business development role, with clear evidence of consultative sales skills
- Negotiate engagement pricing and experience of winning long-term multi-year contractual agreements
- Able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding and experience of value-based selling and contracting to large enterprises
- Ability to build winning sales plans that clearly articulates why Commify will be successful with a prospect
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships at both, C-level and functional levels
- Strong presentation skills with experience of presenting to C-Level audiences
- Experience of complex sales processes, involving multiple stakeholders and prospects.
- Ability to multi-task within tight time frames, and rapidly amend plans and tactics in response to changes in priority or situation
- Using internal resources and business partners to provide collaborative, effective solutions for customers.
- Experience of selling technology products/services
- Experience in social selling (LinkedIn etc…)
- Results driven and target focused
- Strong working knowledge of CRM systems, including experience of all aspects of the sales cycle and workflow generation
It would be great if you also had:
- Experience using/knowledge of Salesforce
- Expertise or experience with telecommunication or business messaging solutions
