You may have seen on our blog that we sponsored Nott Tuesday’s Tech Startup of the Year 2013 Awards. The awards took place last week, here’s how they went…
All 6 emerging and mature start-ups did a fantastic job of pitching in their 5 minute time slots and did even better at answering the various probing questions put to them by the Dragons Den style line up of judges. However, two start-ups, Konstrukt and App Institute, had the edge on the day to take home the £1,000 cash and £5,500 service prizes.

It was a fantastic evening attended by entrepreneurs and investors alike and our congratulations and best wishes for the future go to both the winners and the runners up. The event as a whole was a great success giving great exposure and advice to emerging and mature local start-ups but also helping to emphasise Nottingham as a supporting platform for new Technology businesses.
