The healthy and competitive Esendex bunch (or at least we consider ourselves to be) are entering four teams into the relay event at this years Blenheim Triathlon on 5th June.
The course will include a 750m swim in a very scenic lake, a 20k cycle and a 5k run. The teams are looking forward to taking part in a training session with Richard Stannard, GBR triathlete.
The chosen charity that Esendex is raising money for is Cystic Fibrosis. This charity has been of particular interest to Esendex as Darren, Senior Developer has a daughter, Imogen who has the condition; here is some information about the condition;
• Cystic Fibrosis is one of the UK’s most life-threatening inherited diseases
• Each week there are five babies born with Cystic Fibrosis
• Each week there are three young lives lost to Cystic Fibrosis
