DSCN1376-300x225For the second year running we’re pleased to be involved in the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. The race dates back to 1923 making it the oldest endurance race in the world. The race attracts over 200,000 spectators and a television audience of over 220 million.
If you’re thinking of following the race, the timetable is as follows:
Free practice and qualifying: Wednesday and Thursday June 19 and 20
Start of the 2013 Le Mans 24 Hours: Saturday, June 22 at 15.00 (finish, Sunday 15.00)
Our involvement with the race is to provide DIALOG with their SMS solution. DIALOG have been designing and developing innovative solutions for businesses for over 20 years. Using our SMS API, they have created a dedicated system that automates the sending of race results in real-time to subscribers of Automobile Club de l’Ouest, the organizer of the race.
Screen_20120702_134221-300x225Last year over 70,000 SMS messages were sent in the weekend. Eric Champion, the Director of DIALOG, explained when referring to Esendex that “the first collaboration was a success and we can only congratulate ourselves.”
After a year of successful collaboration, this 2013 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans will further strengthen the relationship between DIALOG and Esendex.
