Aware Monitoring formed in 2008, offering on-demand website monitoring applications, with actionable alerts. The service monitors website performance and availability so if a website is slow or goes down, they can report on it to get the problem fixed quickly and efficiently. With the increase in ecommerce and online applications, the need for website monitoring services has become increasingly business critical for organisational success.
Aware Monitoring identified that offering an SMS service as part of the website monitoring tool would be crucial at the outset.
Aware monitoring combines text messaging with email and dashboard alerts. The exceptional benefit with text messages is that they are instantaneous, which is ideal for being out of the office on the move as there is no time delay in receiving the alert. This allows website performance problems to be addressed immediately. Company CEO comments;

After looking at a number of SMS providers, Aware Monitoring chose to go with Esendex.
"We initially chose the Esendex service because of the international focus , coverage in America, South America and Europe, but as well we found the SMS API implementation a very straight forward process. We looked at the Esendex PHP SDK and were able to translate to Python enabling the service to be available for all users. Accuracy and reliability is key for our service so reliable partners are also key to us."
Aware Monitoring is now looking at opportunities to use Voice SMS for alerting. The acknowledgement facility and the persistence that Voice SMS offers (the phone continues to ring until the message is listened to) could prove to be a significant contributor to Aware Monitoring’s high standard of service and business growth.
