Our Voice SMS service allows you to submit a text message, have it transcribed into a voice call and sent out to any landline or mobile phone number. This opens up communication to a wider audience, especially when SMS is not suitable. In essence, sending messages to landlines can be very useful and in some cases, life saving.
Why use a landline SMS service?
- Excellent way to contact the elderly, blind and partially sighted
- Perfect for contacting house patients with dosage reminders
- A safer method to contact people who may be driving, using a hands free kit to answer
- Useful if only landline numbers are available
How does the SMS to landline service work?
- Like sending an SMS, you simply submit your text message via one of our SMS clients
- This text will be transcribed into a voice message using the leading transcription software
- This voice message will then be sent to your recipients on either a landline or a mobile phone
- If the call is not answered, engaged or unavailable then our system will retry until answered
It’s also good to know...
- There is no extra charge for sending an SMS to voice message as opposed to a standard SMS message
- There are multiple language supported English (UK, US and Australia accents), Spanish, German and French.
