How good is your Web SMS service?

We have direct network connections to all the UK mobile networks which means your messages are delivered within seconds. We will always use the best performing network at any time to deliver your messages.

Can I track whether SMS messages have been delivered?

Yes. The status of each SMS message is updated in real time.

How simple is Web SMS to use?

Web SMS is extremely straightforward to use, so no training is required.  The Web SMS section of our support site contains a wealth of information on how to make the most of the service, along with a comprehensive FAQ section.

Does Web SMS support multiple users?

Yes. Powerful user management functionality allows you to create new users with different levels of access. By default the first user is set up as an administrative user.

Is it easy to manage my account?

Yes. Our Web SMS solution allows you to view recent activity, see how many messages are left in the account and purchase credits at any time. We'll also send you automated emails to let you know when your message limit is running low.

What is a customised sender ID?

By default messages are sent from the virtual mobile number that is assigned to your account when you set it up. The customised sender ID allows you to change this to an 11 character combination of letters or numbers such as your company name, department or a member of staff. When the recipient receives your SMS they will see this name rather than a mobile number. Unlike other messaging providers, we provide this service for free.

What payment options do you offer for Web SMS?

Pay As You Go customers can purchase SMS messages online at any time via our secure website. SMS plan and Tracker tariff customers can choose between Direct Debit or standard account terms.

What level of support do I get?

Technical support is provided free of charge either by emailing support@esendex.com or calling 0845 356 5759 during office hours – 9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday.

Do I need any additional software or hardware to use your online Web SMS solution?

No, Web SMS is an internet-based SMS solution so you need no additional software or hardware - just a web browser and access to the internet.

Who can I send SMS messages to?

You can send a message to a mobile phone on any of the UK networks, including the "virtual networks" such as Virgin mobile. You can also send messages to the vast majority of international users and to domestic users who are overseas (provided they have set their phones up for international roaming).
