Below we provide responses to many frequently asked questions about our Web SMS service.  In addition, the FAQs on our support pages contain more information on how best to use Web SMS.

How good is your service?

We have direct network connections in the UK, which means your messages are delivered within seconds and we will always use the best performing network at anytime to deliver your messages.

How simple is Web SMS to use?

Web SMS is extremely straightforward to use, so no training is required.  The Web SMS section of our support site contains a wealth of information on to make the most of the service along with a comprehensive FAQ section.

Is it easy to manage my account?

Yes. Our Online SMS solution allows you to view recent activity, see how many messages are left in the account, and purchase credits at anytime. We'll also send you automated emails to let you know when your messaging limit is running low.

What payment options do you offer?

SMS Plan customers can choose between Direct Debit or standard account terms. Pay as you go customers can purchase SMS messages online at anytime via our secure website.

Do I need any additional software or hardware to use Web SMS?

No. Web SMS is an internet-based SMS solution so you need no additional software or hardware - just a web browser and access to the internet.

Who can I send SMS messages to?

You can send a message to a mobile phone on any of the UK networks, including the "virtual networks" such as Virgin. You can also send messages to them whilst they are overseas provided that they have set-up their phones for international roaming and to the vast majority of international users.

Can I track whether messages have been delivered?

Yes. The status of each SMS message is updated in real time.

Does Web SMS support multiple users?

Yes. Powerful user management functionality allows you to create new users with different levels of access. By default the first user is set up as an Admininstrative user.

What is a customised sender ID?

By default messages are sent from the virtual mobile number that is assigned to your account when you set it up. The customized sender ID allows you to change this to an 11 character combination of letters or numbers such as your company name, department, or a campaign. When the recipient receives your SMS they will see this name rather than a mobile number. Unlike other messaging providers, we provide this service for free.

What level of support do I get?
