Is BlogIt really free to use?
Yes, the only cost to you is the cost of the text messages that you send to the BlogIt number, +447786 204 255.
Does BlogIt work overseas?
Yes, BlogIt , our mobile blogging service uses one of our own Virtual Mobile Numbers to receive your posts and so can receive SMS messages from almost anywhere in the world.
How do I include a title to my post?
BlogIt automatically creates a title for your post from the first 10 words or upto the end of the first line, whichever is the shorter.
Am I restricted to 160 characters when I submit my BlogIt post?
No. Assuming that your phone is set-up to send long messages you should be able to submit posts of upto 612 characters.
Will my posts be published automatically?
Only if you want them to be. You can set an option from the BlogIt Settings page for your posts to be created as Drafts for later editing.
How long does it take for my posts to appear?
As soon as we receive your SMS post we will submit it to your blog provider. Obviously the actual publication is outside our control but in our experience entries are typically live within a matter of seconds, and a few minutes at most.
Which blog providers do you support?
We provide support for Blogger, TypePad, WordPress as well as any blog that can support email posting or the MetaWeblog or Blogger APIs.
How do I amend my BlogIt settings?
Simply log in from our home page. A link to BlogIt will then be available from the home page.
