The Esendex Messaging Gateway has been developed and operated over several years by our experienced in-house technical team. It is continuously evolving to maintain the highest levels of service and functionality to support our customers business critical messaging needs.

The Esendex Messaging Gateway is a key element to many of our customers’ mission critical operations and the following has been put in place to ensure 99.9% service reliability. Here are some key features:

  • Exclusive use of domestic telecommunication carriers to deliver SMS messages – we do not route messages via inferior overseas carriers. All components in the production environment are matched with at least one active or passive backup.
  • In the event of component failure, the backup automatically takes on the load maintaining service continuity. Automatic environmental adaptation protocols allow the messaging system to effectively load-balance high traffic volumes and re-route in the event of reduced performance or loss of individual delivery routes.
  • Constant monitoring of message queues with instant notifications to technical staff in the event of a message buildup. External monitoring applications continuously check the status of hardware and software components, alerting technical support personnel should anything require investigation.
  • Dedicated support personnel are available 24 x 365 to monitor and respond to any system incidents.
