Premium Rate SMS Plans
There are no set up charges for Premium Rate SMS plans, simply pay a single monthly fee which covers all keyword and administration charges.
The Plans are a particularly useful for new premium rate services, where the market is untested as all the costs are included in a single fee. 25p, 50p, £1.00 and £1.50 shortcodes are available. These are Mobile Terminated billed short codes, which means the end-user is billed for receiving an SMS message from the short code.

Premium Rate SMS Standard Tariff
Alternatively, sign up for our Standard Tariff and pay the set up charge, and a monthly charge for each of your keywords. Our Standard Tariff offers lower set up charges, flexible keywords and tariffs and as a tariff customer you will receive our highest outpayments.
For example, if you wish to run 4 campaigns, on a shared shortcode, the set up charge is £125, plus £60 a month for the keywords (4 keywords at £15 each). The total cost is £185.

Premium Rate Volume Tariff
Our standard Premium Rate SMS tariffs are designed for customers sending up to 25,000 premium rate sms messages per month. We are happy to prepare a custom proposal for higher-volume or existing premium rate users. Notes:
- All prices and outpayments exclude VAT
- Virgin Mobile's revenue outpayments are indicative based on revenue volumes generated
- End-user tariffs include VAT
- Outpayments are made inclusive of VAT in GBP 45 days after the end of each month
- Minimum contract period 3 months for Plan customers. 12 months for all other customers
- If the value owed to you is less than £100 it will be rolled over to the following month
- Monthly charges are paid monthly in advance by Direct Debit
- Plan Outpayments to Virgin handsets are at 60% of the indicated rates.
- *Denotes that a service is MO or Mobile Originated billed whereby the end-user is billed for sending an SMS message to the short code.
